Our 2009 Bozeman CRC Directory has a special place in our home and in our lives. We use it frequently to remind us of names, phone numbers and addresses. The church directory has meaning to us because of the people who are represented by those names, numbers and addresses.
     In this New Year, we will be receiving a new picture directory with new ways to connect with one another. However, as we await that new directory, we will continue to use the “old directory”. With that in mind, I am challenging you to pray for each other by name in this new year. Each week the “Call to Prayer” page in the church bulletin will include names from the 2009 Bozeman CRC Directory. Not all of the people represented by those names are part of our weekly fellowship, but remembering them in prayer is a way to stay connected.
     The “Call to Prayer” will include approximately two families or singles each week in alphabetical order. Please join us in praying for one another by name.
    The 2010 “Call to Prayer” format will begin with a thought for meditation from the book,
 Why Pray? by John De Vries and will also include sections for praying for our community, praying for our world, and praying for justice.
     Thanks to those of you who have informed me of specific prayer needs. God is pleased when we intercede with and for each other in specific ways.
