Bible Reading: Isaiah 11:1-16
Synopsis:
“Do You See What I See?” Eyewitnesses do not always see things exactly the same. During advent this year we are looking at some of the characters from the Bible who are players in the Christmas story. Our intention is to view the manger from their point of view. Today we hear the voice of the Prophet Isaiah. When Isaiah looks into the manger from the other side of Christmas, he tells us what he sees from the context of his encounter with God. Isaiah shares with us insights that are as pertinent to our day as they were to his.
